Stupid Flu

I'm finally over this stupid flu, which has proceeded to kick my ass for the past week or so. Who's to blame? Society, for not ridding us of this scourge long ago? Myself, for drink too much on occasion and thus weakening my immune system? The flu itself? Nay.

Lets blame... Microsoft. Yes, that'll do.

Now that I have my powers back, I have to help deal with the torrent of new students arriving at Churchill College. For some reason I was given some responsibility over my fellow students. Yes, as Married Students Rep, my powers are rivaled only by some gods. You know, like Zeus and Ares, although I'm pretty sure I could take Pan. Little flute playing punk.

Yeah, I had a really cool and witty post - but for some reason this stupid blog software lost it. And now I'm grumpy. And sick.

He's Coming!

Just a quick update to mention that Wah-ren (aka Warren , Blight and other things) is coming to Cambridge! Desprite to hide all the blow-up dolls and pron before he arrives.

I've seen it. I still don't believe it.

At first I was saying "what the fuck is this? It's a goddam remote!". I did not see the genius. I did not see the power. I did not see how my life was going to be transformed - how my gaming could change forever.

I think that Nintendo's new controller could be a bagillion times better than the best thing ever created in the history of mankind.

Ok, maybe a bit too far. Still, I'm excited. A hell of a lot more excited then when Microsoft announced its X-Box 360 with its marginally improved graphics and flacid launch titles. I'm eager to hack and slash at my TV, maybe to hold two of these bad boys John Woo style and smoke someone at an FPS. Oh man.... Oh it's gonna be so good.... *drools*

Loathing!

Been playing Kingdom of Loathing. It's great. I'm AttackBeaver, currently a level 3 Seal Clubber (rank of "Puffin Intimidator"), who is recovering from a massive goofball addiction. He also has a pet mosquito. Yup, in this day and age, with the age of 3-D uber graphics and sound, and I'm spending my time playing a game with stick people. And loving it.

In the interest of this seeming like a real blog, I have to mention the yoghurt incident. One might simply be sitting around, enjoying a "fruit in the corner yoghurt" and not realize that yoghurt can fight back. At the end the the melee, my trousers, backpack and shoes were covered in the vile, white goo. Fortunately, I was cowered in my yoghurt "Fortress of solitude", so no one saw the incident.

And yeah, that was my exciting day.

This was me drinking Pimms and Lemonade at a cricket match. We now post this picture at Churchill College to instill the proper amount of fear to freshers. Scary, but not as scary as Labrynth. David Bowie. Tight pants. I don't think I need to say any more.
